As of Spring 2025

Potter’s Farm Retreat Center is in a period of evolution and expansion. We are boosting the physical health of the existing structures and wanting to add additional avenues for growth.

We are actively seeking co-creators and supporters!

Join us in bringing one of these sacred intentions to life:

Build a Glamping Site

Glamping at Potter's Farm

Private accommodation spaces in the forest.

Imagine walking from a meal in the Farmhouse back to your private space. Hang out on your deck or relax inside your cozy bell tent / geodesic dome.

Glamping sites could be used for private retreats or short-term rentals, bringing income for PF.

  • For a 16’ canvas bell tent site,

    Stargazer tent $1700

    Tarp footprint $150

    Fly cover $300

    Rug $300

    Stove + accessories $800

    Platform deck $500-1000

    Flatrock bed $3-500

Interior accessories (insulation, flooring, heating/cooling, furniture, decor)

For a 16’ geodesic dome site,

    16’ Dome $6,000

16’ Dome with skylight + enhanced frame $6500

  • Sites need to be chosen within 400 feet of a bathroom, or built in an area where we could install a porta-potty.

We’ll need to clear a 20’ radius and level the ground before building a gravel or wood foundation.

Pathways to and from the site to the farmhouse, icehouse, or other bathroom will need to be well maintained.

Upgrade the Yurt

Wooden, Insulated Yurt

A 2-for-1 spatial reset.

Let’s move the canvas yurt and use it for indoor classes and events. It’s a perfect year-round space for workshops!

In its place, let’s build a wooden, insulated yurt with a metal roof, upgraded kitchen, and bathroom that will be a temperature-regulated space for our caretakers for years to come.

  • Moving current yurt: We need to select and clear a site for the 30’ canvas yurt to be placed in. It would then need a deck or gravel foundation, and adequate access via a road. Once moved, the yurt will need a new floor and front door, and accessories for workshops & events.

This would also include demo of current yurt interior, including kitchen and bathroom in center console area.

Foundation Work: The basement of the yurt needs to be finished, including adding insulation, drywall, painting, and installing the in-floor heat.

Building new yurt: A 30’ wooden, insulated yurt kit will be purchased, delivered, and assembled on the existing foundation. A new kitchen and bathroom will be built inside.

  • Building a 30’ deck or gravel foundation

    New floor & door $3,000

    30’ wooden yurt kit $60,000

    kitchen + bathroom $10,000

Tools, Renovations & Support

More energy = better hospitality & offerings.

The land and buildings at Potter’s Farm are magical. What if there was an ability to host year-round retreats in a renovated kitchen with private sleeping spaces and locally grown food & flowers?

With the right tools and a dedicated, paid staff, these dreams could easily become reality.

  • Tractor/Bobcat: allows us to plow, push, pull, and do the work to maintain this year-round farm and retreat center.

Parking Lot + Driveway Upgrade: a central space for 20-30 cars to park would clear up congestion and make hosting large groups easier.

Cabin Renovation: Replace the floors, examine structural integrity, deep clean, possibly install Murphy beds.

Kitchen Renovation: Add dishwasher, re-imagine storage, add more counter space. Complete electrical upgrades in farmhouse.

  • The Transformation Trio donated $50,000 in skilled & unskilled labor from October-April.

Paying them would balance the energy exchange, and allow them to continue their amazing efforts for the sustainable future.
